Where to find the label
Most compressors have a printed sticker or a metal plate on the body. It may be dirty or partly hidden, so clean it gently and photograph it before the compressor is removed. Some numbers are also stamped into the casting.
What is on the label
- The compressor maker – for example Denso, Sanden, Subros, Valeo, Doowon or TCCI.
- The maker’s part number, which identifies that exact compressor.
- Often a model or series code describing the compressor design (Sanden, for example, uses codes such as SD7H15).
- Sometimes the carmaker’s own part number as well.
- The clutch voltage (12V or 24V) and the refrigerant type.
- A date or batch code, which is useful but not needed to order.
Using the number to order
Send the photo of the label on WhatsApp along with your vehicle model, year and variant. We match the part number to a genuine OEM or quality aftermarket compressor and check the pulley, clutch and connections. If the label is missing, the chassis / VIN number and the vehicle details are usually enough.
