About this expansion valve
Premium thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) with capillary tube and sensing bulb. Regulates the flow of liquid refrigerant into the evaporator coil for precise climate control.
A thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) senses the temperature of refrigerant leaving the cooling coil and opens or closes to keep the coil fully used without flooding the compressor with liquid. Some vehicles use a fixed orifice tube instead.
