About this AC compressor oil (PAG)
High-grade PAG compressor oil. Formulated to provide superior lubrication, thermal stability, and corrosion protection for automotive AC compressors.
Most belt-driven compressors use PAG oil in a grade such as PAG 46, 100 or 150, as specified by the compressor maker. R1234yf systems need oil approved for that refrigerant, and electric compressors in EVs and hybrids use special insulating oil (usually POE).
