About this AC blower motor
Reinforced high-velocity cabin blower assembly. Engineered for maximum air circulation in dusty construction vehicles.
An electric motor spins a squirrel-cage fan wheel at the speed chosen on the AC panel. Speed is set by a blower resistor on manual systems or by an electronic module on climate-control systems. Trucks and buses use 24V blowers; most cars use 12V.

My blower only works on speed 4. Is the motor faulty?
Usually not – this is the classic sign of a failed blower motor resistor. Replacing the resistor normally restores the lower speeds.
